In this chapter Tom and Nick got out into the city and they meet Tom's lover. Her name is mrytel and she is cheating on her husband Wilson. Tom gets mrytel a puppy and they go to an appartment. They get drunk and Mrytle starts talking about Daisy so Tom breaks her nose.
